From her tenure as a member of De Dannan, spanning the golden years of that legendary group alongside Mary Black and Dolores Keane, to her four record stint with Loreena McKennitt and as a touring member of The Chieftains, Caroline Lavelle has maintained the thread of creativity that connects her Irish heritage to her rural English roots. When coupled with a love of cutting edge pop and a traditional classical cello training Caroline has also been at the forefront of expanding those traditions into the field of Electronica via her work with Massive Attack and William Orbit, Jam Nation and the Afro Celt Sound System.
