In the UK for a rare visit as one of the main overseas attractions at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections Festival, we were fortunate to grab them for an add-on date before they head back to the USA.
In America, Ben and Joe won the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, for their superb blend of a cappella field hollers, country blues and fiddle & banjo breakdowns. When Phil joins them on blues harmonica, it just gets even groovier!
Highly regarded by all of their peers, Dom Flemons (formerly of the Carolina Chocolate Drops) invited them to tour and record on his album, Prospect Hill.
