After a sold out tour with Sarah Darling and Jenn Bostic as part of Nashville In the Round in September 2016, Kyshona Armstrong returns to the UK for a joint headline tour with Robert Lane.

Originally from South Carolina, Kyshona has been resident in Nashville since 2014. Her songwriting skills and powerful, emotional voice are demonstrated on her latest two albums ‘Go’ and ‘The Ride’. We encourage you to check out Kyshona’s songs and voice to understand the buzz that followed her last visit to the UK.

Kyshona was recently named one of the Top 5 Roots Artists to watch by CMT Edge (country music television) been featured on NPR’s “World Cafe Live” and network television shows “Conviction” and “Criminal Minds”.

“By day, this Nashville transplant is a music therapist; by night, she’s a soul singer with a compassionate, uplifting voice.” Ann Powers (NPR Music)

“What Armstrong’s doing wouldn’t be out of place alongside Jill Scott’s or Ruthie Foster’s catalogs.” CMT Edge (Country Music Television)

“Armstrong embraces repetitive internal rhythms that emerge in some of her songwriting — likening them to both gospel spirituals and the viscerally simplistic utterances of her former patients — and she’s delivering her roots-soul originals with articulate warmth and newly claimed authority”  Jewly Hight- Nashville Scene
