Cellist, singer and songwriter midori jaeger announces her debut show with full band to launch her 2021 EP, ‘See Touch Kick And Sweat’. After the unfortunate cancelling of her 2020 EP launch due to the pandemic, she has not only created another record, but will present it in the flesh and bring it to life in its freshest form at the Green Note this July. With support from Talvin Singh, Madison Cunningham, Jesse Quin (Keane), Jazz FM, RGM Magazine, Amazing Radio and TSF Jazz on her one-of-a-kind cello/vocal style, Midori eagerly awaits presenting her brand new live setup, with full band and special guest supports.

With support from MEG ELLA and ELLA HOHNEN-FORD

MEG ELLA: As a collaborator & session musician Meg Ella has worked with Basement Jaxx, Nitin Sawhney, Jools Holland, Imogen Heap, The Staves, Laura Mvula and more, while also working as the Assistant Musical Director of Citizens Of The World. Her artist project, currently Arts Council Funded, gives her the chance to share her unique songwriting, with soaring vocals and rich harmonies. She welcomes her audience into her creative process via her monthly livestream series “Something Old Something Borrowed Something New” which you can be a part of on her Facebook & Youtube.

ELLA HOHNEN-FORD: London based singer-songwriter and recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Ella Hohnen-Ford is inspired by jazz, folk and the great songwriters of the 20th century. Ella’s interest in a broad variety of styles has produced her unorthodox and genre-defying approach to writing and interpreting music. Debuting her new self-penned songs, she’s delighted to be sharing the stage with Noah Stoneman on Wurlitzer and thrilled to be supporting life force and musical-kin Midori Jaeger.
