JOHN LANGAN and master fiddler ALASTAIR CAPLIN (from the John Langan Band) with a rare duo gig at the Green Note. Known for raucous abandon, trio The Langan Band were award winners at the world-renowned Celtic Connections festival. Tonight will see something different from Langan & Caplin, they’ll be playing a collection of traditional folk songs dear to their heart, honed at the many festival campfires and after shows over the years. Expect superb musicianship and a wonderful collection of songs, everything from Scottish and Irish to South American folk, delivered by one of the most unforgettable folk voices in Britain today.
