David Horniblow and Andrew Oliver have been working together for the past 4 years in the Dime Notes and Vitality Five. In 2018 they have undertaken to learn all 100 compositions of the great New Orleans pianist and composer Jelly Roll Morton. They’re posting two videos a week online throughout the year and this evening will feature a selection of Morton’s pioneering jazz compositions in the cozy Green Note basement.
