42Percent Noir is an audio/visual performance combining live piano with digital art, created by long time collaborators Shaltiel Eloul and Gil Zissu.
Support from VILLEMIN: Villemin (Laure Villemin) is a French composer and musician, classically trained as a violinist, blending the uniqueness of her classical background with the experimentation of electronic music in a universe that is both dark and delicate.
Inspired by ancient forms such as the choral, she weaves soundscapes where the past intertwines with contemporary electronic textures. The violin samples, drawn from her own recordings, become a field of experimentation where memory transforms into echoes and reminiscences, endlessly rewritten as an exploration of her own memories.
Her debut EP Nuit, released in 2022 under the Doorway label, received the support of SACEM and was warmly received, leading to several radio broadcasts, including on Radio France FIP and Soho Radio, as well as performances across Europe, including at St Matthias Church in London, the Q3 Ambient Fest in Berlin, Piano City in Madrid, and La Boule Noire in Paris.
Doors open 7.30pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
