They met over the summer in Somerset at Tangled Roots Festival where they both performed. They thought it would be a lovely idea to play a couple of gigs together, one in London and one in Bristol. So here they are sharing the stage for their London gig, BITY BOOKER and THREE RIVERS, together for a magical wintry night of vocal melodies, original folk songs and classical guitar in the Green Note’s Basement.
Bity Booker is an Italian/Australian psych-folk singer songwriter and illustrator based in London, UK. Her music and illustrations have a strong connection with the natural world and animals. This year she released ‘Dreaming in the Morning’, a four track EP which received some glorious reviews and support from radio shows.This is a special opportunity to see Bity live in London and hear her bewitching original songs before she pauses gigging to record her new music on her analogue tape machine.
Three Rivers is a close harmony acapella group based in Bristol, UK. Formed in 2016, Lauren Holloway, Emily Willmott and Lucy Gilbert captivate their audiences with perfectly blended three-part harmonies. Their beautiful cover versions encompass a variety of genres including jazz, soul, folk and pop mixed with their own elegant and unique style.
