CEITIDH MAC blends the warming tones of the cello and mellow vocals to create a transformative sound that puts a progressive twist on the alt.folk genre.

Originally from Wales, now based in Newcastle, Ceitidh’s intriguing lyrics have been mesmerising audiences in the know across the UK. Her live show is a innovative take on traditional and alternative folk songs, sitting alongside her own original material exploring topics ranging from illuminating everyday experiences to subjects of deeper self reflection.

Ceitidh has previously opened for the likes of Lankum and Laura Misch and has released her debut single Rhythm earlier this year.

ROTEM writes her songs out of casual observations, about the simple things in life that inspire her the most. She has travelled extensively, performing her music to appreciative audiences throughout Asia, and now in Europe and the UK.

With her soft but deep and colorful voice, and her touching lyrics, the 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Tel-Aviv captures the hearts of her audience.

Inspired by artists such as Ben Howard, Tracy Chapman and Bon Iver, she creates intimate shows with her breathy, inviting and comforting sound and energy.

In October 2017 Rotem released her debut single “Hurricane”, that had received high rotation on mainstream radio stations across Israel, was featured on “BalconyTV Chamonix”, and is being played on Caffe Nero’s playlist across the UK, Europe and USA. Leading to shows of her acoustic sound on BBC Radio Kent, and some of London’s best venues such as “The Bedford”, “The Half Moon”, “The Finsbury” and many more.

AMY & THE CALAMITIES is the creation of Amy Wawn, a singer-songwriter born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Inspired by the sounds of Son house and Howlin Wolf, and influenced by artists like the White Stripes, Eddie Vedder and Ray Lamontagne, Amy’s style ranges from lively foot-stomping folk rhythms to the dirty-delicious sounds of delta blues on the slide guitar. This is accompanied by a dark, brooding vocal range, lilting melodies and thoughtful lyrics.
Amy is now based in Camden Town, London. In 2018 she was invited to play The Den Stage at The Cambridge Folk Festival which headlined artists Patti Smith and First Aid Kit that year. She released her debut EP ‘The Suspects’ in February 2018 in collaboration with exquisitely talented violinist, Georgina Leach who was recently nominated as ‘Instrumentalist Of The Year 2018’ by the Americana Music Association. The Suspects EP features six of Amy’s signature tracks and has been met with some great reviews. Indie Band Guru describes it as “a rare gem of true talent. With an impressive range of sound, a lyrical depth and sublime vocals, all the right boxes are ticked.”
“Amy has a depth that defies her age. Her intense and mesmerizing guitar work is matched effortlessly with her dark and brooding vocal range,” writes Rafael Pesce of Spiritual Records in Camden Town, London.
