FOLK AND ROOTS PRESENTS – OLIVE GRINTER & JOE SHRIMPLING:
Olive Grinter & Joe Shrimpling and their band will be celebrating the release of their debut album ‘Silent Strings and Colourful Wings’ in September and October 2026 with a series of live shows across the UK. The album CD is available to purchase at their gigs and will be streamable from September 19th.
Good friends Olive & Joe recently discovered their shared passion for songwriting and have come together to create a collection of songs telling tales of nostalgia, friendship and whimsy. Drawing influence from John Martyn and Nick Drake, Joe’s delicate and thoughtful fingerpicking style embraces Olive’s warm, sensitive vocals which are likened to Laura Marling and Norah Jones.
Doors open 7pm, Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
