Join poet/singer-songwriter GABRIEL MORENO and singer-songwriter JASON MCNIFF for a night of poetry in music as they pay homage to the great General of song, Leonard Cohen. McNiff and Moreno will be performing a selection of compelling Cohen numbers plus a series of their own songs which pay tribute to Cohen’s magical formula of merging poetry and music.
Jason McNiff has made 8 albums of country tinged folk music. He has been described by Mojo as ‘One of the UK’s best secrets’ and by Janice Long on Radio 2 as an ‘Immense talent’.
Gabriel Moreno is a Gibraltarian poet and singer songwriter, resident in London. He has published numerous poetry books as well as four critically acclaimed albums. ‘An offshoot of Neil Diamond and Leonard Cohen’ Cerys Mathews, BBC 6 music.
Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
