With a voice like complex coffee, GRÁINNE HUNT enchants audiences with her heart-melting vocals and emotional songs, making her a standout among Ireland’s vocalists and songwriters.

Her two original records, delve into personal experiences, evoking pain and longing, and comparisons have been drawn to Tracy Chapman, Natalie Merchant, and Dolores Keane. Gráinne’s latest original album ‘This Secret’ (2019 was recorded in Nashville, with Grammy nominated Thomm Jutz) – she writes from a powerful place with lyrics that tell of pain, hurt, desire, all the hallmarks of scarred relationships making her truth resonate with her listeners.

Her music feels like a cathartic expression that has enabled her to move on, move forward.

Support from ROSWELL:

Zoë Wren and Jasmine Watkiss launched Americana duo Roswell after an impromptu open mic night collaboration. Roswell‘s multi-instrumental harmony-infused sound has been likened to First Aid Kit, Fleetwood Mac and the Indigo Girls. Winning Purbeck Rising in their first year as a band, Roswell‘s first release earned the title of Fatea EP of the Year, and the duo went on to be named winners of the Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Competition.

Fresh from tours in Germany and France, and an appearance at Costa Festival Ibiza, Roswell is currently working on their debut album which features their signature candid songwriting on themes like mental health, sibling love and real-life activist adventures at sea.

Roswell has supported artists including John Smith, Calan and Gilmore & Roberts, and played festivals from Cambridge Folk Festival and Wimborne Folk Festival to the Fête de la Musique Genève. The tour for their second EP ‘Come Home’ included sold-out shows at the Green Note in London, The Stables in Milton Keynes and The Shelley Theatre in Bournemouth. Roswell’s debut album is in the works – watch this space.
