LENA JONSSON: Swedish multi award-winning fiddler Lena Jonsson blends her deep knowledge of traditional Swedish folk music with innovative artistic sensibilities, a sparkling joy for life, and rock-star charisma. She has crafted a unique style inspired by Nordic folk, as well as rock, pop, American old-time, and bluegrass traditions. Together with guitarist Erik Ronström and bassist Krydda Sundström they create a virtuosic yet playful trio. The tunes are truly unique, from playful schottisches and melancholic waltzes to virtuosic polskas, and everything in between. It’s a musical journey that stays with you.
