Velvet voiced Jo Harrop joins forces with stellar pianist, Tom Cawley for an evening inspired by the deeply beautiful duets recorded by the likes of incomparable artists, such as pianist, Bill Evans and Tony Bennett, on their albums, Together & Together Again, Ella Fitzgerald with Oscar Peterson, and Nina Simone at the keys.
These late night hours recordings included songs such as We’ll Be Together Again, Some Other Time by Leonard Bernstein, Michel Legrand’s You Must Believe In Spring, My Foolish Heart, How Long Has This Been Going On, Midnight Sun, Sugar In My Bowl, Love Me Or Leave Me & more.
Jo & Tom have extended the repertoire to other well loved jazz standards, in similar style, but with their own unique interpretations of the music, taking you on a lovely journey between romance, heartbreak, humour & pure joy.
