While the doors to our beloved venue remain closed and the whole world as we know it seems to have turned upside down, we wanted to continue to do what we love doing! So…. we are very proud to present “Virtually Green Note… in the round”… a series of specially-curated, unique online musical events that will run every Wednesday and Friday evening at 8pm (UK time), streamed live to our website, our YouTube and Facebook page.

KATY ROSE BENNETT: Katy Rose Bennett (formerly known as KTB) has been writing and performing her idiosyncratic brand of elegant folk for over 20 years. October 9th 2020 sees Katy launch the album ‘Where does it hurt? An Introduction to Katy Rose Bennett’ featuring songs from her considerable back catalogue as well as two new songs including the album’s title track. She releases the single ‘Where Does It Hurt?’ on September 25th 2020! After suffering emotional set-backs earlier on in her musical career and after following a different path in the last decade, Katy has recently returned to songwriting with a new-found passion and energy. She came to realise that, for her, writing songs and being a creative artist are not occasional hobbies: “They are my reasons for being and my purpose in life – connecting people through song is what I Iive for.” She writes songs of love, despair, grief and hope, and our connection to the natural world.

MISTY RIVER: Based in London with roots in the west coast of Ireland and the US, Misty River combine harmonic vocals intertwined with dobro, fiddle and electric guitar alongside songwriting rooted in classic Alt-Country, Roots and Blues. New single ‘With You Around’ was recorded in London and completed in Nashville with six-time Grammy winner Vance Powell (Chris Stapleton, Jack White). It’s the follow-up to their debut single ‘Take This Dance’, currently featured in hit Netflix film ‘A Secret Love’
