Combining classic close harmony style with superbly honed songwriting craft, matched to stunningly virtuosic musicianship, Smith & Brewer produce a brilliantly accessible Roots sound. Taking influence from the The Everly Brothers to Simon & Garfunkel, John Martyn to the countrified Grateful Dead ,the duo recently released their eponymous debut EP to universal press acclaim, and are country working on a highly anticipated debut album. Legendary singer-songwriter Joan Armatrading was first fo discover them, choosing them to support her across two UK tours. They went down a storm Fairport Convention’s  Cropredy Festival’s main stage 2018, were big hits at 2018’s Cambridge Folk Festival, and have just recently completed a string of high profile dates across Britain opening for Ralph McTell.

Paul McClure is a singer songwriter from Rutland, England, known for his intimate, story telling concerts. Paul’s characters and story lines – in particular the loves, laughs and losses that have come his way – though lyrically often brutally honest, nearly always allow the humorous side of any situation to come forward…Recently featured on Mark Radcliffe’s Radio 2 show and with an album of new songs released on UK Americana label Clubhouse Records, things are looking up for the Rutland Troubadour.
