Pete and Maura Kennedy first met at the legendary Continental Club in Austin, Texas. Their first date was a road trip to Buddy Holly’s grave, and their first touring gig was as members of Nanci Griffith’s Blue Moon Orchestra. As a songwriting and performing duo, they’ve traveled the highways and backroads of America for over two decades, and they’ve released over a dozen CDs of lryical, rocking roots music with a contagious vibe of uplift and encouragement.

Support from Slow Leaves: Slow Leaves is the project of Winnipeg, Canada’s Grant Davidson. His music calls to mind a 1970s California country-folk record newly discovered in your parent’s attic. Known for his easy delivery of sincere, poetic lyrics and lilting melodies, Slow Leaves’ songs linger in the timeless spaces where heart and humility endure.
