The Roamin’ Jasmine

The Roamin’ Jasmine: Forged out of the lively street music scene in the French Quarter of New Orleans, the Roamin’ Jasmine are back for their third tour of the UK, after positive reviews in the Herald Scotland, the BBC, and The Horseshoe Lounge. Their repertoire explores 1920’s speakeasy blues, vintage Calypso, seminal 1950’s New Orleans rhythm & blues, and original pieces, all set to traditional jazz instrumentation with a healthy dose of New Orleans flavor. This time they come as a six piece, with a brand new album recorded live in one of New Orleans’ family-owned neighborhood bars.
