Phtalo is a newly formed Jazz Trio based in London consisting of Holly Reinhardt on Bass, Emily Tran on Piano, and Meg Visagie on Drums. The band was formed after meeting at tomorrow’s warriors and discovering a shared passion for innovations in jazz. Their originals are moving, exciting and draw from legends like Charles Mingus, Immanuel Wilkins, and Thelonious Monk the band was formed through a shared passion for innovations in jazz. Phtalo has performed at some of the most prestigious London venues such as Pizza Express Soho, Jazz Cafe Camden, Foyles Charing-Cross(with Rod Youngs), Watford Jazz Junction Festival and the festival We Out Here. For many of these gigs, they have been seen performing as quintet and for this occasion they will be joined by Mali Sheard on Alto Sax.
Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
