ELAINE PALMER hails from an isolated village up on the North Yorkshire Moors but spent most of her life travelling back and forward to her family in the deserts of Arizona. Elaine’s renowned for her distinctive voice, country tinged emotive songs and mesmerizing stage presence with comparrisons to the likes of Emmylou and Stevie Nicks. Her latest album Half Moon Rising, recorded in San Diego with producer Mike Butler whose credits include Norah Jones, Phoebe Bridgers and Ray LaMontagne acclaimed as her finest work yet.

‘Palmer’s powerful expressive voice stands comparison with Emmylou’ RnR Magazine ****

NE Volume  ‘Her music has textures of New Country while being authentic, dark and edgy. I believe that if there is some possible way that Karen Anne Carpenter, Stevie Nicks and Jonny Cash had a child together, that child would be Elaine.’ *****

ROCKING MAGPIE – ‘Twangtastic guitar and rhythm section bring out the pathos of Elaine’s voice. The result is really and truly OUTSTANDING. The finest thing Ms Palmer has ever recorded’ *****

JOANA SERRAT is a Catalonian born singer-songwriter based in London, with her music often described as “folkgaze”. Featuring members of Midlake and Mercury Rev, Joana’s latest album ‘Big Wave’ was released in 2024 to rave reviews. In a feature in Uncut, Allan Jones awarded it 9/10 and claimed it was “Serrat’s boldest, most singular album”, with Mojo magazine describing it as “mining a sweet spot between Stevie Nicks and Kim Deal… as if My Bloody Valentine and an early Cocteau Twins have seeped through the cracks… Easily Serrat’s finest hour”.

Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
