Folklore Presents…

An intimate night of atmospheric folk-rock and Americana-tinged indie.
Spy From Moscow delivers a rare stripped-back performance ahead of his new album — spacious, unflinching, and quietly compelling.

Mock Deer brings intricate, heartfelt alt-folk with a lyrical bite.

For listeners drawn to Jason Molina, Wilco, Neil Young, and R.E.M.

SPY FROM MOSCOW is the moniker of Declan Feenan, an independent Irish songwriter based in London. With a trademark blend of soaring vocal and intimate grunge guitar he has performed across the UK, Ireland and Europe. His debut album Night music was released in 2024 and his second album Harbour Dogs is due for release in September 2025.

MOCK DEER (Ricky Damiani) is a musician, singer and songwriter based in London. Although much of his life has been spent in North Wales and Manchester, he has become an integral part of the capital’s independent music scene via his prolific work with fellow artists from the city and beyond. He has toured extensively in Europe and shared the stage with artists such as Willy Mason and Joan Shelley.

Mock Deer has released several EPs and composed original music for TV and theatre. His debut album The Art of Loneliness — recorded with producer and long-time collaborator Scott Fitzgerald — was released in February 2020 to excellent reviews from the UK music press. His latest EP Pilgrims solidifies Mock Deer as one of art-rock/psych-folk’s most compelling and introspective songwriters.
