Green Note presents an evening with MAYA CASKIE & THE BARDS! With a female vocal quartet, a couple of guitars and a box full of percussion knickknacks, Maya Caskie brings her original folk songs and her friends to her favourite London venue. Inspired by the tradition of bards, travelling troubadours and lyrical poets, this quartet will be presenting a selection of original stories through song. Stories about bell-ringers, runaway brides and ghosts residing secretly in the homes of musicians…
Your bards tonight are: a ballet class pianist, a puppet theatre-maker, a jazz singer and a video-game composer – Maya Caskie, Nicole Petrus Barracks, Immy Churchill and Lucy Hayes.
Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
