Straight from a Sell Out in Whelans Main Room, along with Supporting Macy Gray, David Keenan & Jamie Webster in recent months, rising Dublin singer-songwriter CIARÁN MORAN is set to headline The Green Note on Friday 22 March 2024!

As a well-established songwriter and gaining praise from Irish pioneers including Glen Hansard, Christy Moore, Damien Dempsey, Christy Dignam and many more for his ability and willingness to write about topics that others may shy away from.

2022 was Ciarán Moran’s last official release when he received approval from the Irish Media and industry with his debut EP ‘Life Inner City’. The record had solidified Moran as an artist who was never too far from home and his people. The record was also a stamp from Moran to place onto the hands of many gig goers in the country.

2022 also brought a string of successful sold out headline shows in Dublin and London including Whelans Main Room, The Academy 2 and London and Liverpool along with support slots including opening for US Artist Macy Gray, David Keenan, UK’s Jamie Webster and many more.

“There’s real fire in this kid, he’s not afraid to write about topics some would not speak about” – Glen Hansard

“We mean it entirely as a compliment when we say he’s got a James Taylor thing going. We’re definitely going to be hearing a lot more of Ciaran Moran” – Hotpress Magazine

“He writes powerful songs, songs that deserve to be heard, about subjects that very few will write or sing about” – Christy Moore
