DAVID CELIA is an innovative singer-songwriter & astonishing guitar player, known for his spontaneously driven live performances. Described as ‘one of Toronto’s best guitar players,’ David is a performer who knows how to captivate an audience.

Like a turtle gliding with the current, we’ll drift through waves of retro pop, folk, rock and improv, as David blends genres to shape a sound that’s uniquely his own.

David has performed on CBC, BBC, and WNYC, earning praise from Gordon Lightfoot. He’s collaborated with Ian & Sylvia Tyson, Emiliana Torrini, and shared stages with Elvis Costello, Fairport Convention, & Pete Seeger, solidifying his folk and indie music legacy. 3-part vocal harmonies, feel-good but think songs. Matt Worely, a member of Robert Plant’s current band said it was like the Byrds meet Moby Grape.

NB: Due to a medical issue, Glitterfox who were originally meant to be sharing the bill on this date have sadly had to cancel their tour. So will be just David Celia & Co performing 2 sets.

Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8.30pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
