From various corners of London, the East Corner Trio began by busking in London farmers markets. Before officially forming a trio they had been playing together for years in the London/National Youth Folk Ensembles, and after only a year reached the New Roots finals. Now studying in various corners of England, they continue to create a unique sound through their eclectic musical influences and unusual combination of melodeon, banjolin, and flute and pipes.
Cori Smith and Phoebe Harty intertwine traditional folk tunes with songs and stories, using the cello, viola and voice to create sound worlds of colour and light and groove.
Doors open 7pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
