Georgia’s voice and music are “contemporary, soulful and unconventional with a mellow warmth”. Leo’s playing is “complex yet emotive, fresh yet familiar, and always strives to deliver the rush we all crave from music”. “Unusual and highly imaginative… Extremely expressive and interactive. Great listener.” Jean Toussaint, ex-Jazz Messengers
Having met at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2019, the pair have gigged collectively at festivals and venues including Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Woolwich Works, the Spotted Dog and Kansas Smitty’s.
Taking inspiration from jazz greats such as Wayne Shorter, as well as modern artists Gretchen Parlato and Adrienne Lenker, the pair will provide an all-encompassing set of nostalgic jazz standards and emotive original songs.
Doors open 7.30pm, Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
