Three talented songwriters share the stage, swapping songs and the stories and inspirations behind them….

Sarah Jane Scouten’s music delivers a signature mix of vintage folk and country music, with modern sounds and subjects. An ever expanding palette brings a freshness to her brand of ambient indie Americana. It’s as relevant to today as it is rooted in the music of her forebears.
“A major talent and a whole lot of versatility.” No Depression

Samantha Whates is a hugely respected figure on the folk & roots scene, enjoying both critical acclaim and extensive radio play for her solo releases and as part of PicaPica.
“I love her voice” Dolly Parton

José McGill hails from an Irish musical family. His father was a contemporary of Van Morrison and roped him onto the stage with the family band in his late teens during the early 90’s. As front man for The Vagaband since 2006, McGill took his soulful, eclectic roots rock sound across the UK & Europe. Tonight he’ll be playing stripped back Vagaband material as well as some new songs.
