JOHN FISHELL: John Fishell lives up to his tagline: Unconventional, Unexpected, and a little Unravelled. A musician and producer behind Grammy-nominated Jazz albums; a gravel-voiced troubadour who somehow fuses Nickleback with his deep love of British rock music, and then throws in exotic eastern vibes through his association with Indian flutist Deepak Ram. He’s hit the Billboard Top 40, an amazing result for an independent artist. His live shows never fail to entertain, driven by his onstage personality, musicianship, and clever use of covers. John is touring the UK in march, slotting in visits to key places in the musical histories of his heroes Queen, Def Leppard, and Led Zeppelin, and continuing his oneman crusade to give UK band The Outfield the recognition they deserve at home.
