Joy’s voice “will move anyone with a beating heart.”Huffington Post

Lauren Balthrop, a folk-pop singer/songwriter in the lineage of Carly Simon, Joni Mitchell, and Carole King, makes captivating, candid music propelled by her crystalline voice. She has released 2 full-length albums. Her most recent release “Things Will Be Different establishes Lauren Balthrop as not simply a voice worth hearing but a voice that needs to be heard.” – For Folk’s Sake album review
