LOSHN: Loshn are a Klezmer trio whose intimate arrangements speak, sing and dance with the tradition’s distinct Yiddish accent. With a repertoire that spans several decades, Loshn take their audiences on a journey from the origins of the music in Eastern Europe through to America in the 50s and beyond.

Bringing together three of the UK’s leading Klezmer musicians, Loshn are one of the few Klezmer ensembles in the UK dedicated to Yiddish Historically Informed Performance Practice. Combining beautiful and varied repertoire with their knowledge of the music’s background and history, they present a programme deeply rooted in the Klezmer tradition.
