LUCA FALCOMER-DAWSON is a 25-year old singer-songwriter based in Warwick, England where he grew up. He started learning acoustic guitar mostly through YouTube tutorials when he was still in high school. He was particularly drawn to acoustic, folk-style music. Luca observes…”I’ve been singing for way longer than I’ve been playing guitar. I used to sing in bands before I fully succumbed to good old melancholic folk. I try to be as honest as hell because I think that’s cool in songwriting. I play a mix of contemporary and classic folk and blues songs, as well as my own. Finger-picking, sing-alongs and honest and earnest songs are all featured in my sets. Best described as fresh, fun and emotional.”

Pitching up somewhere between Johnny Flynn and John Martyn, he is a formidable singer, guitar player and songwriter. He is the first Dimple Discs artist to be invited to play a major festival as he has secured a prestigious slot at the Warwick Folk Festival. It follows his sell-out show at the legendary Troubadour club in Earl’s Court where Dylan played in 1962. We see him as having the talent to stand alongside The Arborist, Lankum and Ye Vagabonds.
