BEDE TRIO: Bede Trio (Double Bass, Michael Bede; Piano, Finn Carter; Alto Sax, Albert Hills Wright) formed in 2022 to bring the bassist’s compositions to life with intimate acoustic instrumentation. Michael’s writing is inspired by the strength of old melodies and the exposed nature of small groups, with Finn and Albert’s unique instrumental voices at the forefront. The three also reimagine Northumbrian folk music and classic American songs for their unusual lineup.
Doors open 7.30pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited, and available on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
