Since the release of her debut single in 2019, Glaswegian artist NEEV has built a reputation for discovering beauty in the small details.

Her talent for storytelling and worldbuilding has earned her early support from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Sian Eleri and BBC Radio 6 Music’s Tom Robinson, as well as a sync on BBC drama Waterloo Road. She also performed live and televised for the BBC Introducing x Celtic Connections Showcase at Saint Luke’s in Glasgow in 2022.

Neev released her debut album, Katherine, in 2023, a collection of intricate indie-folk songs that pack a lyrical punch, receiving four stars from the Daily Express. Tracks from the record have already been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, and BBC Radio Scotland.

London-based artist Neev made a return with How Things Tie in Knots, 28 March 2025. A record shaped by tension, contrast, and self-discovery, it delves into the struggle of embracing multiple identities and the complexities of human relationships. At its core, How Things Tie in Knots thrives on duality—between heritage and individuality, tradition and progression, restraint and release. Tracks from the album have been played by the likes of John Kennedy (Radio X), Sian Eleri (Selector Radio) and Angela Griffin (BBC Radio 2).
