NEIL BOB HERD is probably best known to Green Note patrons as a songwriter and guitarist in The Coal Porters (and of course as a member of the “supergroup” on the Green Note graphics..) releasing his well-received debut solo album Every Soul a Story in 2020 “Scots Nick Lowe” (Americana UK) “Sharp as a Tack” (Uncut).
His follow up mini-album is out March 2024. Neil’s songs and engaging stage persona feature wit, twang and poetic dexterity, from wry humour to emotional sucker punch and judicious use of the tremolo pedal.
Doors open 7.30pm. Music starts 8pm. The venue is mixed seated and standing. Tables are limited and available on a first come first served basis so, if you’d like a seat, we recommend arriving early!
