PLAY MISTY is a folk / Americana trio based in Bristol, UK.

Their sound is built around luscious, warm three-part harmonies, intertwining acoustic guitars and soaring flute. Their original material takes inspiration from acts like John Prine, George Harrison, Bonnie Raitt and CSNY.

Play Misty features three seasoned musicians from Bristol’s buzzing music scene: I-Sha-Vii (also with Amun-Ramen and The Wicky Wah Wahs), Ryan McMurtry and Sophie Jones (who both front Sugarmoon).

The group’s debut single, released in early 2023, ‘Open Your Heart’ was called ‘gorgeous’ by BBC Radio Bristol who gave it regular plays after release.

Their second single ‘Roll On’ was featured on Introducing in the West and played by multiple independent radio stations across the UK and the US.

The Green Note gig is a part of a UK tour promoting their new EP.
