ROSSA MURRAY & THE BLOWIN WINDS: Irish alt-rock trio Rossa Murray & the blowin’ winds have been steadily making a name for themselves since their independently released debut ‘The Greenbank park EP’ in 2019 which has garnered over 1.5 million streams to date. With 2022’s sophomore release ‘who really wants to get clean – part 1’ the Liverpool- based outfit offer up real originality combining wilful sounds with melancholic stories of desperate people doing desperate things. Continually packing out rooms across the UK & Ireland during headline tours in 2018, 2019 & 2022 including multiple sold-out shows in Liverpool, London, Dublin & Belfast as well as recent notable support slots for the likes of Ryan Mcmullan, Junior Brother & John Bramwell. Fans of Big Thief, Courtney Barnett and Paolo Nutini will recognise the band’s expert blend of soulful, confessional indie songwriting shot through with acoustic folk influences.
