Samba Azul brings the spirit of Rio to the heart of London performing acoustic Brazilian folk and jazz from the classic and modern Brazilian songbook. In 2007, leader Adam Osmianski traveled to Brazil for a short string of shows, and quickly developed a passion for the music. In the nearly 10 years since he has been studying and performing various styles of music the country has to offer.
Samba Azul is one of the many manifestations of Adam’s passion for Brazilian music. The group, consisting of percussion, guitar, mandolin and vocals performs classic samba, bossa nova, pagode, and MPB repertoire.
