Tonight featuring Lauren Ray + Holiday Oscar + Sim Williams
Lauren has spent the last few years performing and writing in London, LA and Nashville. She’s written with a host of hit songwriters including Martin Sutton (Leann Rimes) and Ian Dench (EMF, Beyoncé) and in April 2015 was invited out to Nashville to record her debut album with producer Neilson Hubbard.
With hints of artists like Norah Jones, Carole King and Stevie Nicks, Laurens debut album ‘We Will Need Courage,’ ticks all the right boxes for fans of classic singer songwriters. Featuring the singles, ‘Come To Me’, ‘Drive’ and the recent ‘Man’, ‘We Will Need Courage’ is a collection of summery soulful pop, showcasing Lauren’s rich vocals with honest, intelligent song writing and radio friendly melodies.
Holiday Oscar combines “first world problems” with authentic recordings that leave gaping moments for self-reflection. The folk singer whose autobiographical lyrics, clever observations and similar sound to that of the classics your parents willed you to listen to growing up. After being featured in When The Gramophone Ring’s Artists To Look Out For In 2016, Oscar’s first single Carousel racked up 200,000 on Spotify.
Since the release of his debut EP “Devil on your Back” in 2015, the independent Portsmouth based singer / songwriter has spent the last two years traveling across the UK, Europe and the USA, playing alongside artists such as Chuck Ragan, Frank Turner and Austin Lucas, to name a few. After recently recording his first full length album at the Straitjacket Studios in Fullerton, California, Sim Williams is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
New album “Boken Bones” coming soon…
