TALENTBANQ presents a Christmas celebration featuring some of the best independent artists in London. The show will consist of two sets from Joe Slater and Georgia & The Vintage Youth followed by a “festive jam” with lots of surprises. A collection of incredibly talented artists coming together to celebrate the festive season. Please be ready to PARTY!
A spine-tingling voice with jazz/swing music that’s both vintage and fresh.
Georgia, 23, is an Essex girl with a big voice and big blonde hair to match. Accompanied by muso friends called ‘The Vintage Youth’, her retro jazz/swing style of music is both vintage and fresh.
Taking influence from the likes of Paloma Faith, Amy Winehouse, Billie Holiday & Louis Prima, Georgia’s contagious melodies and reflective lyrics will have you tapping your feet and wondering why you’ve never seen this girl before.
2019 has already seen Georgia & the Vintage Youth perform to thousands of fans across the UK in a massive 50 date theatre tour as a support band culminating with a performance in front of a sell out audience at The Royal Albert Hall. Major 2019 festival appearances include The Isle of Wight, Cambridge Club and Cornbury.
Hailing from Croxteth, Liverpool and at just 23, Joe Slater delivers a smooth saturating blend of rock, blues and soul that is beyond his years.
Joe recently recorded with Rock N Roll royalty. His ‘State of the Ark’ EP was produced by “Kipper” (Sting), engineered by Cameron Craig (Adele) and Mastered at Abbey Road Studios. The EP is now featured on all British Airways long-haul flights.
This Summer Joe performed with his band at a series of major festivals including The The Isle of Wight, Bootle and LIMF. He is a resident artist at the new Hard Rock Cafe – Oxford Street and is opening for The Christians at the famous Cavern Club, back in his home town of Liverpool.
