This month featuring… Daniel Gadd + Cerian + Jake Morrell

DANIEL GADD is a songwriter from South Africa. He lived in Spain for a year before moving to London in 2015. Some of his biggest influences are Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon & The Tallest Man on Earth. His first album, As if in a dream I drifted at sea, was recorded by the ocean in Kalk Bay, Cape Town; sounds of the street, birds and passing trains can be heard blending into the songs. Best listened to when the rain is a-fallin’, the wind is a-howlin’ and your one true love just sailed away to Italy.

London singer-songwriter, CERIAN, has been described as a cross between Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell and London Grammar. She has been a BBC Introducing featured artist and has been played nationally on BBC Radio on a number of occasions in the past year, to much critical acclaim. Having sung with the likes of Radiohead, Sam Smith, Imogen Heap, Rhodes, Amber Run, Laura Mvula, Luke Sital-Singh, Newton Faulkner, Rachel Sermanni, Sam Brookes and Charlotte Church, Cerian is now taking on the world with her own brand of contemporary ethereal folk.

JAKE MORRELL is a Singer-Songwriter from the stunning countryside of Norfolk who is bridging the gap between traditional American Country music and British Folk. At the end of 2015, Morrell was honoured to not only have his single Wire & Thorns played on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show but asked to come in for a live session as well. This lead to Morrell being contacted by Emily Eavis and offered a spot for Glastonbury 2016. Jake released his brand new EP The Greenline in March 2016 which climbed up to no.5 in the country charts.
