The GREEN NOTE BASEMENT SESSIONS has been a regular night for almost at year. Hosted by Lucy and Arazoo, it is a night for new and upcoming artists to have the opportunity to perform their music in an intimate setting in one of the most loved venues in London. This sell-out night has become such a favourite that for one night, we are moving upstairs with some of our favourite acts from the past year, who have since gone on to do wonderful things in the music world….

Born into a musical family in the valley of Svarfaðardalur, northern Iceland, Ösp has been singing and playing instruments almost since birth. Ösp moved to London in 2011 to pursue a solo career. Inspired by the vocals of Ella Fitzgerald, the stories of Joni Mitchell and by her own nordic folk roots, she began to write her own songs and for the past year she has been performing in various music venues and festivals in the UK and Iceland with her band. She is currently working on her debut album, which will be released early in 2017.

THE 52s
