After a summer of fun and Hank working to finish the new album the Wangford Bass Combo slip back to Camden’s finest the Green Note with more songs old and new. The album will be HOLEY HOLEY and will celebrate the holes that pepper and puncture Life. It will either be ready for Xmas or it won’t. We’ll see….
HANK WANGFORD, the grizzled Godfather of British alt. Country, is joined by two members of his band the Lost Cowboys.

Spanner Subwoofa Robinson is the new Chanteuse with the Cowboys bringing her heaven sent harmonies to Hank’s songs. As a bass player she is an alumnus of the fine Americana band The Hallelujah Trails. Together the three decided to explore Country from the bottom up, back to bass basics. The bass line in any song is mostly felt then forgotten and the Bass Combo seeks to home in on this unsung carrier of sad songs.
When misery’s that deep, for a Boombastic Country experience it must be the Wangford Bass Combo.
