A celebratory and soulful musical journey starting in Jewish eastern Europe
The London Klezmer Quartet… Laugh, cry, dance and sing as the London Klezmer Quartet brings you the best of klezmer in a journey from the Baltic to the Black Sea – and far beyond – played on violin (Ilana Cravitz), clarinet (Susi Evans), accordion (Carol Isaacs) and double bass (Indra Buraczewska). You can also enjoy Indra’s sultry vocals breathing new life into old songs of love, life, food and drink.
LKQ is delighted to welcome a special guest for this concert: Senegalese kora virtuoso/singer Kadialy Kouyateì will join the band for some numbers in a new collaboration where LKQ’s distinctive sound will be enhanced by the mesmerising presence of the west African harp. Expect a few musical surprises!
