Take a swig of Moonshine and put on your dancing shoes for some good time mountain music. The Ragged Out String Band play hard-driving Old-Time, Early Bluegrass and Americana, underpinning traditional fiddle tunes and songs with energetic and creative rhythms.
Brought together by a shared love of fiddle music and fun times the band are Andy Quelch, Guitar (A&E Oldtime String Band, Chance McCoy); Emily Smith, Fiddle (A&E Oldtime Stringband, Texas All-Night Toyboys); Joe Aukland, Banjo (Wagontales, Absentees, The Horne Section). The band have been at the forefront of the UK Americana scene for some years now and have become regular fixtures at many of the country’s leading venues and festivals.
